Nokia has expanded its business portfolio of mobile handsets with the new E61i, E65, and E90 Communicator.

All three operate on quadband GSM and 3G networks, and have WCDMA and WLAN connectivity, and are based on the S60 operating system. In addition, the E90 Communicator also boasts HSDPA capability.

The E90 Communicator is designed as a "mobile office", putting all your business needs at your fingertips. WLAN and HSDPA connectivity promise the best download speeds available, while integrated GPS and Nokia Maps means you don't have to lug along an additional satnav.

Multimedia capabilities include an FM radio, music and video players, and two cameras, one for 3.2MP stills and one for video chatting.

The E65, which is already available in some markets, features One Touch keys on its sliding front cover so that you can make calls, mute and unmute calls, and access a user-specified application of choice through a dedicated button.

And finally, the E61i is designed for "business heavyweights" who need constant email updates.

Advanced attachment handling means that users can edit documents easily, especially with the full keyboard design.

The device supports a variety of corporate mobile email programs, and features a 2MP camera, music and video player.

The E61i and E90 Communicator are expected to go on sale in the second half of this year, along with the Intellisync Mobile Suite 8.0, which offers email, synchronisation, and corporate telephony.
