Motorola has today launched three new handsets, the MOTOKRZR, MOTORIZR and MOTORAZR maxx as well as two Bluetooth headsets, the H601 and H800 to match.

Keeping with the Four letter naming convention, Motorola says the new handsets will be just as thin as previous models.

The MOTOKRZR meets and surpasses the MOTORAZR standard for slimness, with more than a centimeter shaved off its width. Made out of magnesium, polished chrome and hardened glass

Available in both GSM and CDMA, the MOTOKRZR will be available globally during the second half of 2006, regardless of their network preference. The GSM MOTOKRZR features a high resolution 2.0 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth audio, an updated phone directory and new messaging applications.

While both versions offer integrated music players and expandable memory up to 1GB, the CDMA MOTOKRZR boasts touch-sensitive music controls, advanced EVDO data services and location-based services capabilities.

Matching the MOTOKRZR, is Motorola's first GSM slider, the MOTORIZR. The new model features a 2.0 megapixel camera and programmed point-and-shoot Keys, and built-in music player supports.

Additionally Motorola has also announced the MOTORAZR maxx that offers HSDPA and EDGE technology, VGA and 2.0 megapixel cameras for two-way video calling, and an integrated music player. External, touch-sensitive music keys and up to 2GB of optional removable microSD memory enables easy and immediate access to music.

Motorla has also announced the launch of two complementary headsets - the Motorola H601 and H800.
