Yesterday Motorola announced a new super affordable Moto E as well as a refreshed Moto G with 4G and micro SD. Quietly, in Mexico only, a Moto G Ferrari Edition was also reportedly unveiled.

The Moto G Ferrari Edition isn't only special because of its looks, the specs have changed too. This model comes with an upgraded 16GB of memory onboard rather than the 8GB typical to the Moto G and even the new Moto G 4G.

The front of the special edition Moto G features a Ferrari logo and red speaker at the top. The rear is made of a Kevlar material with a dot coloured finish.

Internally the other specs are the same with a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The Motorola Moto G Ferrari Edition is expected to go on sale in June for around £230, but in Mexico only. We've heard nothing official from Motorola yet so we can still hope it will go worldwide.
