The Motorola Xoom 2 has surfaced again, alongside its smartphone cousin the Spyder,  in a set of leaked pics that allegedly show almost the final builds of both devices.

The new tablet from Motorola features a different form factor to the original Xoom, boasting a set of slightly squared off edges and a white back. The pics featured show the "media edition" of the Xoom 2 sized in at 8.2 inches. There is also rumoured to be a more traditional 10.1-inch version. Inside is a more powerful dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM.

It is worth taking a look at our rumour roundup here, which lists just about everything we know about the Xoom 2 and its multiple incarnations.

The Spyder or Droid Razr pics shown boast a Verizon logo on the back, as well as a tactile kevlar and carbon fibre looking back. The phone itself is said to be clocked at 1.2 GHz when it does eventually get itself released.

Not much else is known about the Spyder short of a video from Motorola which suggests it is going to be seriously speedy. The Motorola video is pointing to 18 October for more information on the handset. Until then Moto has us most definitely excited.
