Motorola Droid 2 global edition snapped

The Android gurus over at Droid-life.com - the leading unofficial blog for Motorola's Droid phones, as well as Google's OS - have managed to grab some shots of the the new Motorola Droid 2 Global (or at least that's what they're calling it).
As the first Droid phone to be granted "world edition" status, the phone could be a big success with globe-trotting frequent flyers.
The handset looks almost identical to the Droid 2 apart from a colour change resulting in a silver top. Specs are fairly thin on the ground, but it looks as the though the new phone will have a 1.2Ghz processor, 512MB of RAM and a 3.7-inch screen, along with the same 5-megapixel camera and the same keyboard as the Droid 2.
Rumours suggest that the original Droid 2 may be discontinued to make way for the new model.
We'll let you know more as soon as we find out.
