Phones 4u has scored an exclusive deal with LG to bring the LG Optimus 3D in white to the UK.

Pre-registration is currently available online for people wishing to be amongst the first to get their hands on the World’s first 3D smartphone in white, although Phones 4u and LG are still keeping quiet on when that day may come, currently just going with “the coming months”.

The LG Optimus 3D was launched with much fanfare at Mobile World Congress in February and is gunning to be the first 3D smartphone on the market. The 3D element, which can be switched off, is possible thanks to a glasses-free 4.3-inch screen.

Elesewhere the phone will promise a dual lens 5 megapixel camera around the back, come preloaded with three 3D games and run a 1Ghz dual-core and dual-channel processor (Texas Instrument, OMAP4). It will also come with a HDMI 1.4 connection so you can hook it up to TVs and/or monitors.

Phones 4u are keen to point out to us here at Pocket-lint that they will also be selling the black version as well for those wanting something a little more traditional.
