HTC has announced the launch of the new P6300 PDA device for the business market.

Actually the same model as the previously launched Xda Argon which was only available on O2, the P6300 is a tri-band GSM/GPRS handset, and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IrDA connectivity options and will be available more widely now.

With Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Edition, a large 3.5-inch QVGA touchscreen and a good range of connectivity options, it’s nothing that would get the average consumer hopping up and down in excitement, but is well equipped to cater for the mobile workforce.

It has 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM that can be extended with SD card, a 2-megapixel camera, a 400MHz processor and offers what looks to be promising battery life of up to 8 hours of talk time.

Pricing TBC.
