A leaked press image of this year's HTC One mini shows that the smaller edition of the HTC One (M8) shares much of its stablemate's good looks but lacks at least one of the flagship phone's major features - the Duo Camera.

If the picture released on Twitter by @evleaks is the real deal - and there's every likelihood that it is - the new smaller, mid-range smartphone from HTC will have just the original UltraPixel camera. Or even a 13-megapixel camera instead, as suggested in previous leaks and rumours.

The image also shows that the HTC One mini 2 will come in the same three colours as the M8 - gunmetal grey, silver and gold.

Other rumours about the handset claim that it will come with a 4.5-inch 720p screen, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, HTC Sense 6.0 and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. It will have 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a microSD card slot, according to the speculation.
