The yet-to-be-announced HTC One (M8) was listed for sale via an eBay listing earlier today, but the leaked flagship has already been purchased for $499.99 (£301).
The eBay listing described HTC's upcoming handset as a 2014 Verizon Wireless-branded HTC One with 32GB of storage and 4G LTE connectivity. The listing's main image further revealed the smartphone's packaging and that it would sport the same name as its predecessor, the HTC One (though the "All New" labeling is noticeably absent).
There are no images of the actual silver smartphone. There are however some specs mentioned, including: 5-inch Full HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, MicroSD storage up to 128GB, dual front stereo speakers with built-in amplifier, duo camera with Ultrapixel, and support for Bluetooth.
HTC is expected to unveil its HTC One (M8) 2014 flagship on 25 March - despite much of the handset having leaked through images, reports, and now eBay. It is unclear how the smartphone landed on eBay ahead of its official announcement, but we've contacted HTC for a comment. We'll update when more information is known.
