New details have emerged on a 5.9-inch HTC device code-named the T6.

Pocket-lint first reported last week that HTC is set to launch a bigger HTC One soon. People familiar with the device said the new model would feature similar specs to the current HTC One, as well as a screen between the 5-inch and 6-inch range, and now @evleaks has added more information to that report.

The usually spot-on leakster said the phablet-like HTC One is codenamed T6, and it will allegedly sport a 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset, OIS-equipped UltraPixel camera, 2GB RAM, 3,300mAh battery, microSD slot, BoomSound, stylus and a biometric fingerprint scanner.

The report also mentioned that the T6 is looking at a summer or early autumn release and would boast Key Lime Pie, but even @evleaks noted that the next iteration of Android isn't likely to launch until the end of the year. Therefore, the validity of this software spec certainly raises an eyebrow.

The news comes following this morning's announcement of a HTC One Google Edition with Nexus user experience set to release on 26 June.
