HTC has given its HTC One S a lick of paint and a whopping increase in memory, in a special edition of the handset that has gone on sale in Taiwan.
The handset, which retains its impressively svelte waistline of just 7.8mm, is now available in what HTC is calling “Snow White”. However, rather than the paint job, it’s the hike in on-board memory that has really caught our attention.
Until now, the HTC One S was available with only 16GB of on-board memory, with no microSD card slot to top up with - though HTC has an ongoing deal with Dropbox to provide cloud storage space - so the jump to 64GB is humungous.
At present, however, it seems the HTC One S Special Edition is destined to remain in Taiwan, with HTC informing Pocket-lint that there are currently no plans for it to be introduced here in the UK.
