We'd heard rumours of the HTC Ville at the beginning of last month and now we've an officalish looking picture to go with the image that our mind's eye had painted after scouring over the supposed spec.

And, we have to say, it looks pretty swell. Well, pretty svelte at least - it is said to be the skinniest HTC handset to date at less than 8mm thick.

The Ville is said to be packing a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 Super AMOLED display and no physical buttons on its metal casing. The processor is apparently a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor and it could also come rocking HTC Sense 4.0.

On the back there's purportedly a 8-megapixel backside-illuminated camera that can also shoot Full HD 1080p video. Beats Audio will be built-in but NFC capabilities will not. HSPA+ connectivity is touted, as is a 1,650mAh battery.

There's still nothing official from HTC, but it's likely that HTC will launch a slew of new handsets at Mobile World Congress 2012. The Barcelona based expo kicks off on 27 February 2012. We're fully prepared for a barrage of other rumours before now and then....
