HTC EVO 3D details leak ahead of CTIA

Following Pocket-lint's exclusive revelation that HTC is to release a 3D smartphone in the near future, a leaked document has shown that it could be a 3D version of the HTC EVO, to hit the US on Sprint.
Documents leaked to mobile news website BGR, suggest that the HTC EVO 3D will be a feature-packed handset when it eventually makes it to market.
“We’re talking about a 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 450-pixel Autostereoscopic 3D display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB ROM, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU, dual rear 5-megapixel cameras with dedicated camera button, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and 1730mAh battery,” says the site, before adding that the new phone will run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with 1080p video ouput via HDMI, and it'll sport the ability output 720p 3D content.
The site suggests we could see an announcement at CTIA in Florida on the 22 March. Unnamed sources confirmed to Pocket-lint on Friday that the company was prepping a launch of a 3D HTC smartphone that could be available in the UK as soon as July.
Although the EVO model will be Sprint specific, our information suggests a UK launch, which means that HTC is working on multiple 3D handsets for launch in 2011.
Good thing Pocket-lint’s at CTIA in Florida ready for the news.
