The thing is, there's not a lot to say that isn't abundantly clear from the image above. That's not to say it's not an interesting piece of news, because it is - especially for HTC Windows Phone 7 users.

Although Microsoft is fairly strict with its customisation options on its latest mobile OS venture, it does allow for manufacturers to put their own stamp on their hubs and tiles.

And that's exactly what HTC has done, with this live tile that contains weather information. Now, getting the weather forecast may not be the most exciting addition in the world, but it does indicate that companies have the opportunity to get busy with their tile widgets.

The updated HTC Hub is available now from the HTC section in the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. It will work on the HD7, Mozart and Trophy.
