Google might be developing a new model of its latest flagship, the Pixel 3.
Shortly before the Pixel 3 debuted in October, it completely leaked out via Russian bloggers. Now, it looks like that is happening again, but with a phone called the Pixel 3 Lite. Russian tech blog Rozetked posted what it claimed to be the first images of the unannounced device.
One of the first things we noticed about the so-called Lite version of the Pixel 3 is that it comes with a headphone jack. Leaked details about the Pixel 3 Lite add that it features a 5.56-inch (2,220x1,080-pixel) IPS display, a Snapdragon 670 processor, and a plastic casing. All this suggests the Pixel 3 Lite is a budget model rather than a smaller one. After all the, Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch screen, too.
It is an expensive $800 flagship with an OLED panel and specs that rival the Galaxy S9 and iPhone XS. Clearly, it's not for everyone. You need to have a lot of extra cash laying around to upgrade to the Pixel 3. Maybe that's why Google made the Pixel 3 Lite? However, that hasn't been confirmed. Although Rozetked leaked the Pixel 3 XL, that doesn't mean it is right about the Pixel 3 Lite.
One of the more telling signs that this could be a fake is the logo on the back. It's a C, rather than a G, for Google.
