Research In Motion has introduced the VM-605, or BlackBerry visor mount speakerphone.

RIM says of the gadget: "This exciting new BlackBerry accessory helps drivers communicate, while keeping two hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road".

Calls can be streamed from a BlackBerry smartphone over the car's stereo system and callers can receive verbal caller IDs as well as partake in a little voice activated dialing.

In addition to the handsfree calling functionality, the visor mount lets people listen to songs from their BlackBerry over the car's stereo.

Described as "slim" and "ultra-light" the VM-605 clips onto a car's visor with no installation required.

Other features include up to 13-hours talk time, noise reduction and echo cancellation technology and the ability to work with GPS software on your phone.

The BlackBerry Visor Mount is marked as "coming soon" over at for £69.99.
