BlackBerry Storm users struggling with the operating system can now update their smartphone, although not officially.
The latest firmware update, version OS 126.96.36.199, has been leaked onto the internet ahead of an official Over The Air (OTA) push from RIM, Vodafone and Verzion.
Although the official update isn't expected for a another week, those impatient enough can now download the leaked update from the Internet and install it themselves.
Leaked on BlackBerry fan site, CrackBerry.com, the software update requires you to have a PC as the update is an executable file.
The update, which is reportedly taking anywhere between 15 minutes and one and a half hours to install, promises to fix a lot of the known issues with the phone.
