Anything Apple can do, RIM can do better - when it comes to colours at least.

Not content with already rolling out a smoky violet version of the BlackBerry Curve 3G, as well as a ladies' favourite pink model - the Canadian phone giant has launched a white version of the QWERTY handset, one that will be on sale exclusively in the UK at Phones 4u.

You'll be able to nab the blanc BlackBerry on contract (from £16.50 per month, multiple networks), on PAYG (£149.95), or even bundled with the 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook (£99 with a £37 per month deal).

The white handset has the same spec as the original black version, so that's a 320x240 display on a transmissive TFT LCD, a full QWERTY keyboard with backlighting, a 2-megapixel camera, as well as 3G and Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.

The white BlackBerry PlayBook 3G lands on 16 June, but you can pre-order now.
