The Asus PadFone mini is two days. Maybe.

Notable leakster @evleaks recently tweeted a leaked press shot of the device with the following caption: "PadFone mini 4.3, 2013". This suggests the PadFone mini will launch by the end of the year - and it could land with a 4.3-inch smartphone.

Asus sent invitations last week for a launch event in Taiwan on 11 December. Many believe the handset maker will reveal the Asus PadFone mini at the event. After all, Asus CEO Jerry Shen, confirmed in September that the PadFone mini would arrive in time for Christmas.

The PadFone mini is rumoured to be a 4.3-inch smartphone that docks into a 7-inch tablet. That means it would be a smaller version of the PadFone Infinity (hence the "mini" moniker), which features a 10-inch tablet and 5-inch smartphone. Other leaks have claimed the PadFone mini will sport Android 4.3, 3G radios, and a Snapdragon 400 chip.
