Apple has released an update for the iPhone, version 2.0.2, on Monday suggesting it has moved quickly to fix problems some have reported with reception issues with the new iPhone 3G.

In a pushed software update via iTunes, users of the iPhone 2.0 software and iPod touch 2.0 software are recommended to download the latest update.

"This version of the software includes the following improvements and supersedes all previous versions", Apple says in its usual pop up window before citing said improvements as merely:

"Bug fixes"

Vague and no word on what those fixes are and whether or not it fixes the widely complained about reception problems that supposedly affects 2% of iPhone users.

We will keep you posted.
