Apple iPhone users might be bemoaning the lack of NFC connectivity needed in order to double up their devices as a contact payment systems, but at least they can use them for general DIY, cracking open a cold beer and/or measuring very small lines.
That's because the TaskOne G3 Pro iPhone Tool Case has no less than 22 hardened steel tools contained within in Swiss Army Knife-style. And what's more, it only adds an extra 5mm of thickness to the iPhone 5 or 5S, so will still fit in the same pocket. Probably.
The case itself is made of aircraft grade aluminium covered in a protective polymer layer to keep the iPhone's back scratch free. The edges are also covered in reinforced polycarbonate, so protects the phone from drops.
There are two machined slots on the rear of the case, which can be used to create a kickstand to watch video hands-free. And among the tools included are a 1.8-inch saw, file and blade combo, small and large flathead screwdrivers, a medium Phillips screwdriver, pliers, wire cutters, Allen wrenches, spoke wrenches, a 120mm ruler and bottle opener.
A screen protector is also included in the box and the whole kit costs £79.99 from Firebox. You won't feel a "tool" carrying one of these. Eh? Eh?.. Oh, please yourselves.
