Apple is now taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 5C, its plastic-bodied variant unveiled earlier in the week.

The iPhone 5C comes at lower price than the iPhone 5S, the Cupertino-based company's new flagship handset. iPhone 5C has specs that are closely related to those of the iPhone 5.

You can now put in your pre-order for the iPhone 5C directly with Apple, so you can get your hands on the 16GB model for £469 or the 32GB model for £549. Unlike the previous iPhone 5 and the new iPhone 5S, there's no 64GB model.

This time you'll also get to pick the colour you want, with Apple in the UK offering the phone SIM free through the Apple Store, or with a option of a £15 Three pay-as-you-go starter pack, getting you 300 mins talk time, 3000 texts and unlimited data for 30 days.

The major networks are all now opening up pre-orders too, with Vodafone is offering £20 account credit if you pre-order online before 20 September.

We're rounding up all the details so you know exactly where to buy it and how much it's going to cost you. The iPhone 5C will be available from 20 September, so once your order is in, you only have a week to wait for delivery.
