A photo has emerged of what appears to be the front panel of the iPhone 5. However, as well as a black version, the leaked photo also shows a white version of the front panel.

Previous white versions of Apple products have proved extremely popular among consumers, so it’s no real surprise to hear the manufacturer will be revisiting that design for its next-gen iPhone. However, this is the first time it’s been spotted in the wild.

Along with the two different shades, the images show that the front-facing camera has been moved to the centre of the device, sitting directly above the earpiece. Though it’s difficult to decipher, the image also leans towards claims that the iPhone 5 will have a longer screen, possibly as tall as 4 inches diagonally across with an aspect ratio of around 16:9.

According to some reports the iPhone 5 could be announced as soon as September. In the meantime you can keep on top of all the rumours and leaks by visiting our iPhone 5 rumours page
