What do you get someone who has everything... Apple?

Brand loyalty is strong in the tech world. Often, you'll find families that have living rooms full of gear adorned with the same logo, be it Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Philips or otherwise. Or kitchens dominated by Breville, Kenwood, Dualit, what-have-you.

But there are few brand loyalties as fervantly adopted as with Apple (or as vehemently opposed - you couldn't imagine the Tassimo coffee crowd flaming the Nespresso fanboys).

It is not inconceivable, therefore, that there are many iPad owners out there with several other Apple devices, including the iPhone and, perhaps, an iPod Classic (for the gym?).

So, it is with this in mind that design student and blogger Andrew Kim, who's studying at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, USA, has created his Polyply concept; a stand with space to firmly hold an iPad, iPhone, iPod Classic and capacitive stylus.

Created using a mix of acrylate polymer (acrylic plastic), birch plywood, and birch - hence the name Polyply - the stand was laser cut for accuracy, and several attempts were made over a period of two weeks before the final model was completed.

And we love it.

The only sad thing is that this is a one off. Still, we can admire from afar.

And what's the betting that some manufacturer comes up with something similar - possibly just for the iPad and iPhone? We'll give you 2:1 on the nose.
