Yell.com, the listings information site, is coming to your mobile phone so that you can look up people and businesses while you're out and about.

The new mobile service comes in two forms, in a standalone application and through your mobile browser.

All the information that Yell.com provides will be offered free of charge; you can look up over 2 million listings on any internet-enabled mobile phone.

Within the application is a “regular request” list to help you find information that you need repeatedly, as well as an auto-suggest function, and a click to call button so that you can look up a restaurant, for example, and call them to make a reservation.

Yell.com information can be saved to your contacts or texted to friends; zoomable maps and directions are also available.

You can get Yell.com mobile by filling in your mobile number on an online form; sending a text message; or visiting the mobile website through your phone's browser.
