Apple has just pushed out an update for the newly released iOS 7; iOS 7.0.1.

The update, which has gone out to iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C users offers "Bug fixes and improvements" and comes in at 13.8MB.

The update currently seems to be for only the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. Pocket-lint's office iPad hasn't yet got the update request.

The release is expected to fix a couple of minor issues with the new devices including better support for Touch ID in the App Store.

The update is available for all new phones. Check out our iOS 7 tips and tricks: Here's what your iPhone or iPad can do now. Of course if you weren't able to get a new iPhone 5S today - Apple Store already sold out of iPhone 5S, but you can still get one now then you can do the update when you get one in a couple of days or weeks time.
