The Lego Group loves the Star Wars franchise. And that's none more evident than at the 2014 NYC Toy Fair, where the company has introduced a suite of new sets inspired by the sci-fi blockbuster films.

The Star Wars Rebels Building sets are the highlight of Lego's NYC Toy Fair showcase. Lego said the sets are launching on 1 August and will include Lego Star Wars The Ghost and Star Wars Phantom for $89.99 and $24.99, respectively. Pricing for the UK is yet to be revealed.

The Ghost building set is based on the Rebel heroes’ starship, The Ghost, and it includes dual cockpits, a 360-degree rotating turret and 929 other pieces such as two spring-loaded shooters, ejecting escape pods and several new mini figures such as a Stormtrooper.

As for The Phantom, it is an attack shuttle that works with The Ghost set. That's right. The two models can be combined. The Phantom features 234 pieces including wings, tools and a detachable cockpit. It even has two mini figures, Ezra Bridger and Chopper.

But that's not all: Lego is introducing 23 new Lego Star Wars sets in total to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its partnership with Lucasfilm. For instance, in August, you can expect to see an Imperial Star Destroyer, which features 1,359 pieces, for $128.99, as well as AT-AT and Mos Eisley sets for $69.99.

And, finally, there's a Star Wars Advent calendar launching this summer. It will come with 274 pieces and a $39.99 price tag. Check out our gallery below for all the pictures from Lego's NYC Toy Fair booth.

We thought everything looked super cool and super intricate. We also thought some sets seemed a bit expensive, but overall they're definitely worth the money. Especially the Imperial Star Destroyer and AT-AT. Those sets were very detailed and complex, and perfect for any Lego enthusiast (or Star Wars fanatic).
