Do you like Transformers? Do you like robots? Do you have $26,000? If the answer to all three of those questions is yes, then you'll probably want to grab your cheque book.

Brave Robotics, a Toyko-based company, has created a remote controlled robot that turns from a fully working sports car, into, you guessed it, a fully working robot able to walk.

Costing 1.98 million Yen ($26,000) the little robot can even fire missiles to warn off would-be attackers.

The robot is entirely 3D printed, controlled wirelessly and, according to the small print on the website, the prototype to a full-sized version which it hopes will go on sale in 2030 - this is just 1/12 scale.
