Sky has just unveiled Glass, its no-dish, no-box TV complete with built-in Sky services.

The streaming and content provider hosted a bumper event in London on Thursday 7 October to reveal its future plans - but the official page leaked before the event kicked off.

Sky Glass will be available in three sizes - "Small", a 43-inch TV; "Medium", at 55-inch; and "Large", at 65-inch - to cater for various rooms and homes. It's an LED-backlit LCD TV with full-array backlight that can be zonally managed for better illumination control.

The Glass TV set is designer-like, and will be available in a variety of colours: anthracite black, ocean blue, racing green, dusky pink, and ceramic white.

Sticking with its one-box-for-all solution, Glass incorporates six speakers and a woofer, delivering 360-degree Dolby Atmos sound - negating the need for a soundbar addition and part of the reason why the TV itself is so thick by design.

Glass represents the first time Sky has offered a dish-free solution for UK homes - with services here all running through streaming via a broadband connection.

Sky Q continues as the set-top-box option for those who can get it.

In terms of pricing, Sky Glass starts at "£13 a month". But that's for the 43-inch TV, as an interest-free loan over 48-months. A Sky Ultimate TV package increases that by £26 per month.
