Netflix Tudum is an annual online event where it debuts trailers for new seasons, forthcoming movies and exclusive clips.

Its latest was held across the weekend starting 23 September 2022 and revealed release dates for the likes of The Crown season 5 and Emily in Paris season 3, plus a prequel series to The Witcher and much more.

Here's everything you need to know about it, including some of our highlights of the hottest shows coming to Netflix in the months ahead.

What is Netflix Tudum?

Turn up the volume on your TV and open the Netflix app. What do you hear? "Tudum!" That's the noise that greets you every time you start to use the service.

It's also the name of Netflix's "global fan event" - an annual exhibition of the streamer's upcoming movies and shows, providing viewers with sizzling updates about its various projects and also teasing them with clips and even behind-the-scenes footage.

There's also a literal fan event aspect, with interactive panels and conversations with the creators and stars, including some of Netflix's most popular shows.
