First announced at the tail end of 2019, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition is finally now available in the UK too.

Essentially featuring the same tech as the conventional Galaxy Watch Active 2, this model is made in partnership with Under Armour. And, while it lacks LTE, it supports a Bluetooth connection for hook up to Android and iOS devices, and has unique styling.

The Under Armour edition features pre-installed software that gives users direct access to the sports brand's fitness platform.

For example, it offers a built-in MapMyRun app so that wearers can track their outdoor activities.

The Under Armour Edition also exclusively offers users the ability to pair with the company's connected HOVR training equipment and footwear.

Elsewhere, this is the same Galaxy Watch Active 2 that was release last year. It rocks a touch-sensitive bezel on the ring around the screen, an improved heart rate monitor, and even built-in ECG capabilities - though that won’t be available at launch.

Finally, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition has an aluminium body and comes in two size options: 44mm with a black strap, and 40mm with a grey strap.

It is available from selected retailers in the UK and US.
