Lego is introducing two nostalgic-inducing sets, and the best part is they were created by Lego super fans.

Lego's Review Board has been considering 10 ideas from mid-2018, all of which have reached 10,000 supporters, and it's now announcing which ones will make it to market. Keep in mind these sets come from Lego's Ideas initiative, which allows fans the opportunity to submit their own creations. If chosen, Lego master designers will help bring their concept to market and share the profits.

The first is called Steamboat Willie. It comes from Mate Szabo (szabomate90), who designed the set to celebrate Disney's original Mickey Mouse from over 90 years ago. As an animator, it makes sense for Mate to create this set. It includes a model of the Steamboat Willie boat and a black-and-white Mickey Mouse minifig. It is expected to launch in 2019. The final product design, pricing, and availability are still being ironed out.

The second set is Central Perk Coffee of Friends. It comes from Aymeric Fievet (Mric76), who essentially built a replica of the Central Perk cafe from the hit TV show Friends. It also includes minifig versions of the show's main characters. The construction, accessories, and characters use about 1,750 pieces altogether. Fievet, who works in the computer industry, said he made it because Friends is one of his favourite shows.

Central Perk Coffee of Friends will launch in 2019, but the final product design and pricing are still being worked out by Lego and Fievet. For more Lego Ideas, check out this Flintstones set, which was just announced. Other epic Lego sets can be found via Pocket-lint's round-up here.
