We brought you the announcement of the U200 touchscreen all-in-one PC from Samsung back at the beginning of April. We've now seen it in the flesh and a pretty looking AIO it is too. Dan Hill, Product Manager for Notebooks at Samsung UK, told us that Samsung see AIOs as a key area for expansion.

We didn't have all the specs at the time of launch, but we have the low down on the U200 now, so thought we'd update. First up, the U200 will set you back a healthy £749.99 and is exclusive to PC World.

It features a Pentium T4400 2.2GHz processor, with 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. You'll get a full range of connectivity including 6x USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a 3-in-1 card reader. There is a DVD rewriter on the side, hidden neatly in the curvaceous design.

But you'll mostly be interested in the 20-inch 1600 x 900 pixel resolution display. On a laptop or monitor we'd probably lambast the resolution, but on a touchscreen AIO that isn't such problem, especially if you are going to be manipulating it with your hands, using Samsung's Touch Play software.

Powering the display is the Nvidia GeForce G310 graphics card giving you 512MB of graphics memory, with Dan Hill pointing out that Samsung have a dispaly "pedigree". It certainly looked good to us, even sat next to a cup of tea, even if it is a little on the chunky side.

A shame then, at this price, that the keyboard and mouse is wired, so you don't quite get that clutter-free result you might want.

The Samsung U200 is available in PC World or at PCWorld.co.uk now.
