We're officially coining the phrase "Tablet Tuesday" as today, 22 October, we're being swamped by the things.

As well as Nokia announcing the Lumia 2520 Windows 8.1 tablet during Nokia World in Abu Dhabi this morning, Apple is fully expected to unveil both the fifth-generation iPad and iPad mini 2 during its press event this evening (UK time). But that's not all. Microsoft also chose this day to release its latest tablet devices in stores around the world - in 21 regions, no less.

The Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 both went on sale today and are available, in the UK, from a variety of stores, including John Lewis, PC World & Currys, Game and Argos. You can also order them from Microsoft's own online store.
