Logitech has unveiled a pair of mice that it says are the first to be able to track on glass surfaces. They use "Darkfield Laser" technology, which sounds more like something that an evil genius might have come up with to obliterate the Earth.
The tech uses two lasers to track microscopic irregularities in a surface and should mean that you can finally bin your last mousemat and use a mouse directly on that lovely glass desk of yours.
There's a "Performance" version and an "Anywhere" version. The former is full-size and costs £90, whereas the latter is smaller and more suited to your laptop and on-the-go use. It costs £70. Both are available this month.
