Logitech has unveiled two new additions to its G-series line of gaming peripherals - the Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 and the Logitech Gaming Headset G330.

The successor to the G5 Laser Mouse, the Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 claims to deliver "a maximum hand speed of 165 inches per second and a maximum acceleration force of 30 gs" which basically means it's pretty quick.

There's on-the-fly adjustable dpi from precision settings at 200 dpi to that which allows fast manoeuvres of up to 5700 dpi.

With a "rugged" finish, the mouse gets onboard memory to save settings, weight tuning, dual-mode scroll wheel and ten programmable buttons.

The Logitech Gaming Headset G330 offers an adjustable, behind-the-head design that Logitech says "slides for a personalised fit".

There's a soft silicone-lined headband and pivoting ear pads for comfort, while a a noise-cancelling microphone reduces background noise.

The Logitech Gaming Mouse G500 is due in September for £69.99 while the Logitech Gaming Headset G330 will be available at the same time for £49.99.
