Logitech has launched an all-new, chic flat keyboard called the diNovo Edge.

Cut from a semi-translucent piece of black Plexiglas, the keyboard is set in a brushed-aluminium frame and lights up with dynamic, back-lit icons.

Measuring just 19mm thick, the keyboard’s keys and buttons are set deep into flush to it, so that it doesn’t require much pressure to push down on the keys.

It incorporates a TouchDisc that works a little like a notebook computer’s mouse, except that it allows users to scroll horizontally and vertically by moving the finger in a circle around the perimeter of the TouchDisc.

In addition, three zoom buttons on the side of the keyboard make it easy to zoom in and out and instantly reach 100% view with one touch of a button.

The device hooks up wirelessly with a PC through Bluetooth, and comes with a stand/recharger that powers the keyboard with a charge that lasts up to 2 months.

The diNovo Edge is available from November for £150.
