As well as confirming the UK launch of the HP Mini 5101, HP has introduced the new HP ProBook 4310s aimed at small businesses.

HP says the new addition to the ProBook line "delivers a reliable and secure computing experience that keeps their businesses moving forward and also delivers multimedia support for professional and personal use".

With a 13.3-inch, 16:9, LED backlit screen and weighing in at 1.97kg and 27.3mm thin, the notebook gets HP's "glossy noir" finish.

The 4310s offers a choice of ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 or Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD graphics controllers, as well as the latest Intel processor technology.

New features include an HDMI port, ExpressCard slot and SD/MMC card reader. It will come complete with HP ProtectTools and be offered with the option of mobile broadband module and 8-cell battery.

The HP ProBook 4310s will be available from 20 July 2009 priced at 449 euros while the HP Mini 5101 won't go on sale until August, also priced at 449 euros.

Both prices don't mean that much right now though - they are excluding VAT and exact UK price points are to be confirmed nearer to launch.
