HP has announced that it is expanding its HDX Dragon laptop from the one model to multiple screen size options.

Following on from the larger than life laptop that was the HDX9000 20-inch model last year, the company has launched two new models for those looking for something a little smaller.

The HP HDX16 and HDX18 will sport a 16-inch and 18.4-inch 1080p 16:9 displays respectively and will both come with a Blu-ray drive, integrated TV tuner, Altec Lansing speakers, Dobly Home Theatre support and a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT graphics card.

Other features include an Intel Centrino 2 processor and HP's MediaSmart software. The new models will also come with a remote control that sits in the ExpressCard slot.

The new models, which will of course come with Vista, will be available from mid-October and cost between £999 and £1199.
