HP has launched the Voodoo ENVY M:152 notebook PC, a "middleweight" offering, into their gaming portfolio.
The ENVY M:152 is the first Voodoo notebook to feature the latest Intel Centrino Duo processor technology – including the Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor technology, X7800 Extreme CPU, the Mobile Intel PM965 Express Chipset and the Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN.
The notebook has 15.4-inch WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 matte finish display, and weighs 7 pounds with a battery.
Described as one of the quietest Voodoo notebooks to date, it supports DX10 and features the NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT 512MB video card.

The machine comes with a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a fingerprint reader. With 2 x Dimm DDR2-667 slots with up to 4GB of memory when used with Windows Vista 64-bit operating system, the notebook claims to have the power to support the most demanding applications and multimedia collections.
The "from" price for this new model is €2326.53/$3308.90 which works out at about £1640.
