HP has launched a range of network-enabled televisions in the US that will allow you to wireless stream content like photos music and video from your PC directly to your TV.

The new range of MediaSmart TVs will feature 1080p performance and access to HP's Entertainment Services Portal, which provides access to a variety of online photo, video and music services.

Services already include Snapfish, Real Networks' Rhapsody and CinemaNow, which allows consumers to begin watching movies from its library of more than 4000 titles before the download is even complete.

While the new models will be available to American customers in the next couple of months, HP has told Pocket-lint that there is no current plans to launch the company's television offering in the UK at the present time. However the company has not ruled out selling televisions in the UK in the future.
