Aside from launching three new iPaq's today, HP has also announced the launch of a laptop with built in 3G and HSDPA connectivity.

Following hot on the heels of the Dell laptop launched earlier in the year, the Compaq nc6400 Notebook PC will come with built-in antennas supporting 3G broadband wireless connectivity as well as standard Wi-Fi.

3G Broadband wireless capabilities will be supplied by Vodafone for select EMEA markets, however HP has said that future will be available via an After Market Option kit, protecting lifecycle investment.

The HP nc6400 features the Intel Core 2 Duo chip, offers 3D graphics and a 14.1-inch widescreen display.

The HP nc6400 Notebook PC with integrated 3G Broadband Wireless will be available in mid November. Without integrated 3G Broadband Wireless, the HP nc64007 Notebook PC is now available at £799 ex VAT, and can be upgraded to full 3G as it ships with built in 3G antennas. A 3G broadband upgrade kit will be also made available for nc6400 users during Q4. However HP has yet to say how much the upgrade will cost.
