Dell has announced an addition to its Inspiron 7000 Series range that embraces the tablet age with a 2-in-1 design.

The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 is a Windows 8.1 laptop come tablet device with a 13.3-inch touchscreen display that can rotate 360 degrees thanks to a hinge design. The display can be specified up to Full HD (1920 x 1080) and the device comes with a passive stylus.

A fourth generation Intel Core processor runs the show, and additional features can be added depending on user needs and price point. For example, one option is a backlit keyboard.

All Dell Inspiron products come with 20GB of free Dropbox storage as standard and other specifications will be released closer to the product's launch in the UK in September.

Price will also be revealed around that time too.

Dell has also announced a 2-in-1 addition to its Inspiron 3000 Series line-up. It is an 11-inch device and will be available sooner, from the middle of June.

It will come with Waves MAXXAudio technology, like the brand's Venue tablets.
