When we reviewed the Dell XPS 13 in April of last year, we were quite the fans. The now private company Dell wants to continue expanding on the powerful ultrabook by increasing the screen resolution for the pixel junkies in the crowd.

Announced at CES 2013 in early-January, the Dell XPS 13 with the upgraded screen is now available on Dell's official website and is expected to hit retailers soon, but not without a more expensive price tag. It boasts a 1920 x 1080 pixel density, making for a Full HD 1080p display.

Dell has two models of the 1080p version available: a $1,400 model boasting an Intel Core i5-3337U processor and a $1,600 model boasting a Intel Core i7-3537U processor.

For those who prefer to save a little money with the 720p versions, they're priced at $999 and $1,199, featuing a 13.3-inch HD 720p and varying amounts of RAM.

As we noted in our review, the Dell XPS 13 is the best ultrabook we've seen to take on Apple's MacBook Air. You can find the full specifications via the source link below.
