Belkin has launched a device that promises to allow users to transfer files like music, pictures, documents and games without the need for a computer.
Called USB - Anywhere the small credit-card sized device lets you connect two USB devices to transfer files between them.
Powered by 3 AAA batteries, the unit works as a bridge and will allow you to connect any two devices such as a digital camera to an external hard drive or flash drive, between two MP3 players between USB flash drives, external drives, CD-R burners and even memory card readers.
The unit also supports Plug & Play and hot swap capability. It also has a blinking LED transmission status light so users can work out what is happening as the files are transferred.
The device is not the first of its kind. Last year pocket-lint reviewed a similar device by a company called Delkin (This isn't a typo).
The Belkin USB - Anywhere will cost £27.99 and is available now.
