Is the MacBook Air getting the Penryn processor?
|

PhoneNews has the scoop that Apple is going to update the MacBook Air with a Penryn processor.
As the chaps at Engadget have pointed out, this would make a great deal of sense, following on from the update of the iMacs in April.
But PhoneNews says it also has the specs.
And here they are...
Apparently the outward appearance of the MacBook Air isn't going to change much, but inside, the computer will get a Penryn-class Core 2 Duo processor.
And, to counter power drain, Apple is allegedly going to add a higher-capacity battery, but will use a 60W power to charge.
PhoneNews also suggests that there will be a hard drive update, taking the capacity up to 120GB or 160GB.
