Apple has today announced updates to their range of MacBooks Pros.

The improvements come in the form of the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, improved graphics, memory up to 4GB and mercury-free LED-backlit LCD display for the 15-inch models, while the 17-inch model gets an optional high-resolution display.

All models now feature built-in 802.11n wireless networking for up improved performance over 802.11g.

Every MacBook Pro model includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4MB of shared L2 cache, an 800MHz frontside bus and 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory.

Promising more realistic graphics for animation and gaming, the MacBook Pros now includes the state-of-the art NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT.

The MacBook Pro's lightweight, aluminum enclosure is just one-inch thin and is available in three models: 2.2GHz (£1299.00) and 2.4GHz (£1599.00) 15-inch MacBook Pro models and a 2.4GHz 17-inch MacBook Pro model (£1799.00)
