Apple has developed such a standard look for its ads that it's incredibly easy for designers to create copy-cat videos, or in this example, concepts.

The company is reportedly developing a refresh to the MacBook Pro this year, complete with a new 16-inch model. Like clockwork, a new concept video has emerged showing what the future MacBook Pro lineup might look like and feature. This particular mock up comes from Viktor Kadar, who dreamed up 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro machines with a nearly bezel-less OLED design and rounded corners.

There's an “invisible” Face ID system, in which the sensors are hidden behind the edge-to-edge display. And the new keyboard here ditches the traditional butterfly keyboard in favour of a “shape-memory alloy” design, which sort of reminds us of the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard, but with distinct keys. The one here will supposedly offer “more key stability and accuracy” than the current keyboards do.

Let's be clear, though: This is pure imagination with a touch of wishful thinking. But it's beautiful, very Apple-esque, and a great look at what Apple could do with its MacBook Pro lineup, especially if it continues to go the route of edge-to-edge displays. Let's also keep in mind that Apple investor Ming-Chi Kuo thinks the next MacBook Pro line will usher in an “all-new design”, not just a larger display.

So, maybe there is some truth to this concept, which you can see in full here. For more about what the next MacBook Pro is expected to feature or look like, see Pocket-lint's hub here, which is regularly populated with the latest news.
