Apple on Tuesday released version 10.8.4 of OS X Mountain Lion.

The OS X update, which comes a week before Apple's World Wide Developers Conference, is now available through Software Update on the Mac App Store. Apple said 10.8.4 also resolved an issue that caused iMessages to sometimes display out of order in Messages, among other things. The complete release notes are available at Apple's Support webpage.
