Gateway One: all-in-one metallic desktop PC
Over the pond, Gateway has revealed the Gateway "One" a 19-inch all-in-one desktop PC.
In what could be described as quite a design departure from the black box look favoured by their average desktop range, the new models are stylin'.
Just 3.6-inches deep, the new iMac-rivaling offerings will come in a range of three models.
The cheapest model has a 1.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive along with Intel X3100 graphics, and will cost $1300.
The higher-end model gets Core 2 Duo chip, but at 2GHz, 3GB of RAM and a 500GB hard disc for $1800.
An online only version, for $1500, matches the lower spec but offers a 400GB hard drive and Radeon HD 2600 graphics chipset.
All offer cable clutter management to keep that minimalist chic looking sweet.
